WheelsKart RC Transfer Terms and Conditions

These terms explain the customer responsibilities, documents, fees and RTO dependencies involved in completing vehicle RC transfer after purchase and delivery.

RC transfer is processed after full payment and complete documentation. Timelines may change if documents, verification or RTO approvals are delayed.

Please read these terms carefully before accepting delivery. By making payment and accepting delivery, the customer confirms that these terms have been read, understood and accepted.

Terms and Conditions

  1. RC transfer will be completed within 180 days from the date of full payment and submission of complete documentation, whichever is later.
  2. The customer must provide accurate KYC, address proof, signatures, OTP, biometric verification and physical presence whenever required by the RTO.
  3. Any delay in submitting documents or completing verification will automatically extend the 180-day timeline.
  4. RC transfer is subject to RTO approval, document verification, NOC, hypothecation removal, pending challans and government portal availability. WheelsKart is not responsible for delays caused by government authorities or third parties.
  5. From the date and time of vehicle delivery, the customer will be fully responsible for all challans, accidents, offences, misuse, taxes, damages, insurance claims and third-party liabilities related to the vehicle.
  6. The customer agrees to indemnify WheelsKart and the previous registered owner against any claim, loss, penalty or legal expense arising from the vehicle possession or use after delivery.
  7. The customer must not resell, pledge, modify the registration details or transfer possession of the vehicle until the RC-transfer process is completed, without prior written approval from WheelsKart.
  8. Any pending liability relating to the customer possession or use of the vehicle must be paid immediately upon notification.
  9. Government fees, road tax, NOC charges, hypothecation-removal charges, penalties and inter-state transfer expenses will be payable by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  10. WheelsKart may suspend or cancel the RC-transfer process if documents are false, incomplete, expired or inconsistent.
  11. The customer must inform WheelsKart immediately about any change in address, mobile number or other details before completion of the RC transfer.
  12. Once the RC-transfer application has been submitted, cancellation or alteration will be subject to RTO approval. Any resulting expense will be payable by the customer.
  13. The customer must verify the transferred RC upon receipt and report any correction required within seven days.

Acceptance: By making payment and accepting delivery, the customer confirms that these terms have been read, understood and accepted.

Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by Indian law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
